Occasionally, we’ll have a special Sunday, where the times of our gatherings change, or where we gather as one family in one location. Check the events calendar or contact us to make sure of timings.
What to expect
Worship
We usually kick off the Sunday morning by worshipping God with songs and music. We have a variety of songs, from traditional to modern and fast-paced to contemplative, to help you worship and thank God.
A message from the Bible
After we’ve sung some songs we’ll read from the Bible and hear the Sunday message. The messages help us understand the Bible more and provide a place where we can hear God speak to us individually.
Prayer
Throughout the service there will be opportunities to pray. Don’t worry if this is something you’ve not done before – we’ll help you to pray by showing how you can do it and giving you the space to do it yourself.
Children’s groups
The St Paul’s 10am, St Michael’s 10:45am, and Chase Meadow 4pm services all have children’s groups. Our incredible children’s leaders help children to actively engage with Jesus on a Sunday morning. They provide upbeat songs with actions to listen and watch, crafts and activities they can do to help them understand the Sunday message, and even tips on how they can stay connected in their faith at home.
A chance to connect
Developing friendships and getting to know each other is a key part of what we do at Warwick Network Church. Spending time together before and after Sunday gatherings is a great opportunity to do this, so we give plenty of space for this before and after our Sunday gatherings.
Our Sunday evening prayer gatherings
Our 7pm Sunday evening prayer gathering at St Michael’s Budbrooke takes a slightly different approach to our other services. We get together for 30 minutes to pray specifically for those who don’t know Jesus to come to know him and everything he can do for them. Sometimes we’ll begin with a song and other times we’ll go straight into the prayer. It’s a quieter, more focused time together.
FAQ
It’s totally normal to have questions before coming along to a church service. Some of the most common ones are listed here, but if you have any other questions don’t hesitate to get in touch!
All kinds! The Bible teaches that Church – God’s family on earth – is for everyone, no matter who they are, where they are from, or what they’ve done. The Church is for all nationalities, all ages, men, women, young, old … whoever you are, the Church is for you!
Not at all. We regularly have people visit us who are skeptical about Christianity and Jesus but are interested to find out more about what we believe. If you’ve ever had questions about life, faith, or Jesus then we’d love to meet you!
Our Sunday services typically last 1-1.25 hours, but we always leave plenty of time before and after so people can catch up. The Budbrooke Sunday evening prayer gathering at 7pm lasts for 30 minutes. You can catch up on any Sunday messages you’ve missed by going to our YouTube channel.
You can find parking information and directions on our locations pages – Budbrooke, Chase Meadow, and Warwick.
Whatever you feel comfortable in. We don’t have a special dress code.
Our 10am, 10:45am, and 4pm services include Kids’ Church – different groups for children of different ages that are designed to help them understand Jesus for themselves. Your children will feel right at home, where they enjoy stories, games, crafts, and more! All our volunteers are DBS checked and passionate to make every child’s experience fun and exciting!
Some churches will pass around a collection basket each service, but we don’t do that here, so you don’t need to feel awkward.
It’s very rare that we’ll ask for money; when we do, it’s from the front and asking people to go to the website or to the donation station at the back of the church to donate. It’s completely optional and there’s no pressure to give, and it’s not something we expect guests to give to.
That’s okay! You don’t need to know what to do. Usually we put words on the screen for people to follow along, and we let you know what’s going on throughout the service.
One good idea to help you feel comfortable is to take a seat near the back so you can watch what other people are doing.
Maybe …! If going to a Sunday service isn’t something you’ve done before, it’s normal for things to feel awkward. We sing together, we read the Bible together, we pray for each other, sometimes people raise their hands in the air to worship God. It may seem weird at first, but these are things that naturally happen when the Church gets together to be in God’s presence.
It’s not a problem. Just come in as normal and join the service from when you arrive.
Each Sunday gathering has a welcome team who are available to chat and pray with you. You’ll normally find them at or near the entrance. You can always reach out to them and ask your questions! They can also provide you with more info about Warwick Network Church, upcoming events, and more.
What a lovely church! I’ve only been once so far but the people here were extremely welcoming and friendly, the facilities were homely and professional, and the atmosphere was really warm and inviting. I’d very much recommend visiting!
