FAQ

How we plan to respond to God’s call to show his heart of hospitality to all.

With God’s help, we hope to show his heart of hospitality to all through:

  • An improved welcome area inside the church building, helping people feel at ease from the moment they arrive
  • A dedicated hospitality area for fellowship, conversation, and community life
  • A purpose-built audio-visual (AV) area, enabling worship and events to run smoothly
  • Levelling the floor to make the church fully accessible and flexible to use
  • New heating and lighting, creating a warm, bright, and comfortable space
  • New seating in a comfortable and flexible layout for worship, events, and community use
  • A re-decorated interior
  • Opening up the original Norman arch doorway on the north wall with a new glass door, giving natural light into the church and adding a fire escape route
  • A modern light-rich entrance porch, including toilet facilities, to welcome everyone into the church
  • A new and landscaped graveyard extension, providing both a place for internment of ashes and for peaceful retreat and reflection

We have a professional quantity surveyor currently estimating the overall cost. The cost could be up to £500,000, towards which we’ve already raised £160,000. We’re actively pursuing grants and other external funding, which we hope will cover a significant part of this amount. However, we’ll still need to raise a substantial sum ourselves.

For starters, please pray! We’re seeking God’s guidance and provision, and ultimately this is about showing God’s heart of hospitality to all people.

We’ll be launching a fundraising campaign later in 2026. However, if you already feel moved to give, you can find out more on our Give page. No gift is too large … or too small!
