The Alpha Course is a relaxed and open space to explore life, faith, and meaning through conversations about Christianity. Free food, and no pressure, no cost, and no judgment.

What is Alpha?

Alpha is 10 weekly sessions where you can explore the Christian faith in an open-minded and welcoming environment. There’s no cost, and no pressure. Just lots of great conversation and space to think.

Each session includes a short film and time of discussion where you can share your thoughts about what you’ve heard. A meal and drinks are also included!

Whatever questions you’ve got, you can ask them at Alpha.

That’s ok, lots of people do. Coming along to something new can be scary! We’ve tried to answer some common questions that people have about Alpha below, but if you still have some questions, we’re more than happy for you to give us a call or send us an email so that we can help you.

Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. The fun, free, and friendly sessions are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds, and you’re free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

For teenagers, Youth Alpha is best 🙂

The full course is usually 10 evenings, plus an Saturday away day. Each evening lasts about two hours and includes time for chatting, a free meal, video, and discussion. Every session is optional; there is no pressure to follow up.

Nothing! The Alpha Course is entirely free.

Whatever you feel comfortable wearing – there’s no dress code.

Nope! Everyone’s welcome, no matter your beliefs, experience, background, religion, or walk of life.
