Annual Parochial Church Meetings
Our parish democracy
A church APCM is a legally required annual gathering in the Church of England, which we usually hold in April. It’s for all members of the church and is a vital part of the local parish’s democratic structure. It usually includes a review of the past year’s activities, finances, and church building, while also electing churchwardens (lay church officials) and members to the Parochial Church Council (PCC – the parish board of trustees).
